Robert Leroy Lucas Jr.

Robert Leroy Lucas Jr., age 85 of Lowell, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Lucas (2020); mother, Mildred Mansfield; father, Robert Lucas Sr.; brothers, William Walling, Ron Walling Sr., and Clifford Walling. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Lucas; sister-in-law, Frances Walling; Jeffrey’s sisters, Dawn (Dan) Haugen, Roberta (Rocky) Graham; also, nieces and nephews. Bob attending Saranac School and then ventured to work at Canada Dry in Grand Rapids for many years. He also worked at Fairchild’s Service Station in Ada. Bob loved cooking, gardening, and traveling with his wife Barbara. Memorial service will be held 2:30 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson St., Lowell, MI 49331, with visitation one hour prior to service. Rev. Brad Brillhart officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
