Robert “Bob”Ripley, age 61 of Lowell passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 8, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle Ripley; and sister, Angie Scharaswak. Bob is survived by his wife of 42 years, Michelle; children, Aaron Ripley, Samantha (Tadd) Johnson, Tara Ripley, Adrienne (Travis) Cook; grandchildren, Trinity & Tré Johnson, Raegen & John Cook; mother, Rosalie Ripley; brother, Ronald (Patricia) Ripley; sister, Teri Bonell; brother-in-law, Samuel (Christine) Milton; sisters-in-law, Julie Modaressi, Teresa (Marc) Trumpower; several nieces and nephews; and longtime friends, Paul Farley and Neal Fonger. Bob worked as a diesel mechanic for 40 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, and hunting. Bob was known for his huge heart, always willing to help family and friends. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Celebration of life to be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Lowell Moose Lodge, 1320 E. Main St., Lowell, MI 49331.

Bob was so funny and had such a huge heart. I remember when he and Michelle helped make the diaper cake for a baby shower. He had such a huge heart and he will be forever missed. I’m so very sorry, Michelle. The best neighbors I’ve ever had. ❤️????

Jeanie I’m so very sorry for your loss, Bob was a terrific man with a huge heart of gold.We would sit and shoot the crap, play cards and Bob would be my teacher lol because I’m not much of a card player @ all,We had many great times with lots of laughs to the point we were in tears. Bob, sweet, funny and so silly BOB! You made my childhood so fun. We had the best of times growing up with the Ripley’s. You will always be in our hearts, you will always be loved and you’re surely one of my absolute favorite cousins. I love you-Your Aunt Penny loves you, too! She, like many, just adored you. He was a good man. And a good uncle when my kids were younger. . This is very sad. He will definitely be missed .
