Lawrence Wierda

Lawrence Lee Weirda, age 74, of Lowell, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020. The son of Jacob & Ruth (Bailey) Wierda, he was born April 13, 1946 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Lawrence had a passion for Michigan sports including the Wolverines, Redwings, Tigers, and the Lions. He enjoyed golfing and sprint cars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wierda; parents; and sister, Ruth Devriendt. He is survived by his daughter, Tanya Wierda & Charles Honer; grandsons, C.J. Freshour, and Stephaen Freshour; sister, Joanie Blesi; and brother, Timothy Devriendt. Services will take place privately.
