Thomas Hooper

HOOPER Thomas James Hooper, age 69 of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 25, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline Hooper and sister, Polly Ann Crider. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sue; children, Kristin (Chris) Kuhlman, Dan (Tia) Hooper, Chad (Meghann) Hooper, Kelly (Jason) Bowman; grandchildren, Matthew, Kaitlind, Olivia, Madison, Tyler, Levi, Jade, Aaron and Andrew; brother Jack (Gretchen) Hooper; also several nieces and nephews. Tom was a loving, beautiful, amazing husband, father and poppa. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, August 27 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2750 Burton SE, Msgr. Ernest P. Schneider, presiding. Visitation Friday 7-9 PM at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE with a vigil service at 7:00 PM and visitation Saturday one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Paul the Apostle/Daniel J.
