Roger A. Forth

FORTH Roger A. Forth age 78 of Grand Rapids passed away September 20 2008. Surviving are his wife Lorraine; children Mary Wease Stuart (Jane) Forth David (Debbie) Forth Chris Forth Carol (John) Paul; grandchildren Stuart II Leslie Emily Erin Ryan Marley Stephanie Jack; brother Dr. Stuart (Pearl) Forth. He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Wade S. (Viola) Forth; sisters Peggy Forth Lois Page; daughter-in-law Kelly Forth. Roger was a Navy Veteran and a graduate from Michigan State University. He was a member of the Elks Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association and the United States Lighthouse Association. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered September 25 2008 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 1449 Wilcox Park Dr. SE with Rev. James Chelich presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Rosary 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home 3980 Cascade Rd SE. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Society of St. John 6599 State Highway M26 Eagle Harbor MI 49950-9642.
