Mary Frances Hinton

Mary Frances Hinton, age 90 of Ada formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Joseph Hinton; and brother, Joseph P. Clarke. She is survived by her children, Mary Therese (Dr. Thomas) Clay, Joseph Francis (Joann) Hinton, Robert (Meg) Hinton, Donna M. Hinton, Mickey (Sarah) Hinton; grandchildren, Julie, Sarah (Jarret), Caitlin, H. Joseph, Ashley (Curtis), Lauren, Spencer; great grandchildren, Scott, Stella; sisters-in-law, Margaret Clarke, Helen “Doll” Higgins. Mary was a volunteer at Metropolitan Hospital and enjoyed playing the organ at St Robert of Newminster Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr., Ada. Rev. Leonard Sudlik presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Monday 6-8:00 p.m., with Vigil Service 8:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids, also visitation 10-11:00 a.m. prior to mass at the church.
