Mary Beth Pardo

Mary Beth Pardo, age 92 of Lansing, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Pardo; daughter, Laurie Rae Pardo; and granddaughter, Melissa Pardo. She is survived by her children, Tim Pardo, Jack Pardo, Paula (Roy) Cockwell; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren (and expecting one more). Mary Beth lived a life filled with many great achievements and interests. Her education included a bachelors in Education and Home Economics at Central Michigan University; a masters in Institution Management at Columbia University, New York, New York. She enjoyed all types of sports, games, and was an avid bridge player. Mary Beth worked over 30 years in institutional school food management. 22 of those years at Lansing Everett High School. Funeral Service will be held Monday10:00 a.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Road S.E., Grand Rapids. Visitation Sunday 3-6:00 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the service.
