Leroy E. Strong

Dr. Leroy E. Strong, age 81, passed away peacefully in his sleep, September 23, 2014 while at home in Grand Rapids with his wife, Linda Helen Baehr Strong. Leroy retired from the US Army as a Lt. Col. There will be two visitations held Friday, September 26, 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids. Funeral service will be Saturday 12:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2 Michigan St. N.E., Grand Rapids, Rev. Craig Bickel officiating. His family will meet friends and relatives one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment Broomfield Township Cemetery, Isabella Co., MI following the service.
