Karen is at total peace now—the earthly struggle is over. She died with a smile on her face as she went to meet her Savior, Jesus Christ.
To know Karen was to enjoy her wonderful sense of humor, her love of cooking (especially for others), her love of fishing, reading, and watching cooking shows—and she was an artist in her own right. Karen spent her working years in the restaurant industry.
Special thanks to Sheridan Hospital (especially Dr. Derek Gilbert), the Welsh Cancer Center, Hospice of the Big Horns, her nurse Brenda and to her landlord who helped sacrificially all along Karen’s last journey. Also, a special thank you to Pastor Les Hitchcock from Bethesda Worship Center who pastored Karen through her final days and gave comfort to both her and her family.
