Julia C. Hurley

HURLEY, JULIA C., age 84 of Lowell, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Lena Hurley; brothers, Kenneth, Charles, Harold, Robert, and Gerald Hurley. She is survived by her brother, John; sister-in-law, Ella Hurley; dear long time friend, Larry Douthett; and many nieces and nephews. After her retirement from Wolverine Worldwide in Rockford, she enjoyed working in the classroom with the children and the sisters at the Franciscan Life Process Center in Lowell. Julia was a devoted member of St. Patrick Church in Parnell where she will be interred. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4351 Parnell N.E., Ada, MI 49301. Rev. Mark Peacock presiding. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2-4:00 p.m. and 6-8:00 p.m. with Vigil service 6:00 p.m. at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell.
