Jose Antonio Santos MD

SANTOS MD, JOSE ANTONIO, age 91 of Cascade Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family November 5, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxima Alto; and son, Jose Antonio Santos Jr. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Leila; children, Stefania Santos, Marie Agnes (Hermogenes) Regal, Romarico (Elva) Santos, Maria Milagros Santos (James Afable), James Anthony Santos (Marissa Macandog), Francis Anthony Santos, Jude Anthony Santos, Carmel Assumpta Santos; 8 grandchildren; sister, Teresita (Rafael) Florentino. Dr. Santos was a general surgeon graduating in 1951 from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines and later became a professor in the medical school until 1994, retiring in 1996. He was a president of the Rotary club in Manila, Philippines from 1988 to 1989. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 8 10:00 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr., Ada. Rev. Leonard Sudlik presiding. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert of Newminster Church.
