Jerrold Landstra, age 89, of Naples FL and Grand Rapids, MI, went to heaven peacefully, with quiet, gentle love surrounding him from his family, the care of Faith Hospice, and his Maple Ridge family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Marlene; daughter, Leslie (David) Gerst; her mother, Barbara Landstra; daughters, Kathleen (Mark) Lee, Christine (Scott) Yoas, Melissa Pavlik Wells; grandchildren, Dr. David (Dr. Monica) Gerst III, Molly (Bryan) Anderson, John (Samantha) Lee, Hunter (Michael Majer) Lee, Alexander, Maxwell and Hadley Yoas; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Alessandra, Cassian, Cashen, Mia, Parker, and Banks; brother, Fred Landstra; and sister, Eleonor Slaugh. Those who preceded him were, his son, Steven Landstra; grandchildren, Christopher Lee, Millicent Pavlik; parents, Claude and Henrietta Landstra; and son-in-law, David Pavlik. Jerry was the proud owner and operator of L & L Beverage. He loved golf and was a member at Cascade Hills Country Club for 63 years. He also loved the University of Michigan and was a season ticket holder for many years. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, November 4, 2021, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI with Rosary at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM Friday, November 5, 2021, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 2750 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Msgr. Ernest P. Schneider and Fr. Mark Przybysz, concelebrant.
