Terry Lee Richards, age 74 of Grand Rapids, formally of Lowell, passed peacefully on November 1, 2021. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Green; sister, Elaine Gibbs-McQurrie. He is survived by his sons, Todd Richards, Brent “Bert” (Lynn Mai) Richards, Brian Richards; grandchildren, Jayden Morris, Tyler Wulsing, Shilynn Vaness, Michael Vaness; brother, Dale Green; sister, Sharon Treviso; and many nieces and nephews. Terry was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He owned and operated Terry Richard’s Construction for over 40 years. Terry enjoyed family gatherings, rarely missing a holiday or birthday celebration. He had a huge heart, was always kind to everyone, and a thoughtful giver. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, November 12, 2021, at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson St., Lowell, MI 49331, with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Dale Hotelling officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of Lowell, 3124 Alden Nash Ave SE, Lowell, MI 49331. Following the service, we invite friends and family to celebrate Terry’s life by sharing a meal at Big Boiler Brewing located at 318 E Main Street Suite B; Lowell, Michigan 49331. We encourage all to join as lunch will be served at 3pm.
