Wayne Horning, age 87 of Kentwood, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Horning. Wayne is survived by his children, Tracy (Mick) O’Brien, Terri (Erin Stevens) Horning, Craig (Joan) Horning; 6 grandchildren; along with many other loved ones.
Wayne was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Honeywell for 35 years before retiring. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and bowling. Wayne had a passion for woodworking.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 6-8pm at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home, 3980 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Private services will be held at a later date. Interment Alaska Cemetery.
