Dorothy Marie Carpenter

CARPENTER Dorothy Marie Carpenter age 85 of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord May 13 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband James and sister Helen Ogden. She is survived by her children Marsha (Herman) Boes Gary (Carol) Carpenter Mark (Diane) Carpenter and Mary (Ken) Blain; sisters Avis Russell and Ginny VanTassel; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Forest Hills Baptist Church Rev. Jeff Burr officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mission Fund at the Forest Hills Baptist Church 3900 E. Fulton Grand Rapids MI 49546.
