William C. Lane

LANE William C. Lane age 87 of Lowell formerly of Detroit went to be with his Lord March 8 2011. He was preceded in death by two sisters Shirley (Kenneth) Erickson Mary Ann (Raymond) Simescu. William is survived by his wife of 65 years Joan; children Edward (Doreen) Lane Julia (Thomas) Jones Mary Burns Timothy (Katie) Lane Margaret (John) Walsh Patricia (Barry) Rosenberger Michael (Lisa) Lane; grandchildren Chris Erin Kelly Kerry Megan Michael Matthew Manus John Liam Morgan Joan Maggie Sheila Coilin Patrick Mary Kate Julia Joyce Meredith Nicholas Olivia Ryan Danny Aidan; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lane worked over forty years as an auto industry executive. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. William was very proud of his education at De La Salle High School and Wayne State University. Bill was a wonderful and caring man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be 5-8 PM at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home 305 N. Hudson Lowell. A Rosary Service will be held at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 11 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church 402 N Amity Lowell. Fr. Eugene Okoli presiding. Interment Holy Seplechure Catholic Cemetery Southfield MI.
