Vita Lucia Saladino-Webb

Vita Lucia Saladino-Webb, age 85 of Ada, passed away July 19, 2020. She was the oldest daughter of the late Nick & Pauline Saladino. Sister to Gasper & Connie Saladino, Joe Saladino, Nick & Louise Saladino, Luciano Saladino, & Carmella & Wayne Styf. Vita was preceded in death by brothers, Vito & Anna Saladino, Tony & Pat Saladino, Frank, James, Larry Saladino, Michael, and John; sisters, Catherine Dupy & Vita Saladino; sister-in-law, Margot Saladino; friends, Carol Hilton, and Rose Crumback. She attended South High School (1953) and left at age 16. She graduated from Forest Hills School in 1984 at age 49. She worked in the medical field starting with St. Mary’s Hospital, J.H. Leep M.D., Sherman A Sprik M.D. & Harold Hollander D.O. She was a Eucharistic Minister and greeter at St. Roberts Church. Vita is survived by her husband of 48 years, Rod; children, Glen & Carol Webb, Joann & Bob DeGlopper; grandchildren, Jen, Nicole, Melissa, Cameron, Tara, Travis; and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 6-8pm at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11am at St. Robert of Newminster, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Ada, MI 49301, with visitation one hour prior to service. Covid 19 restrictions will be adhered to with masks being required and social distancing at both locations. Msgr. R. Louis Stasker, Presiding. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
