Thomas Harry Van Putten Sr.

VAN PUTTEN – Thomas Harry Van Putten Sr., born September 12 1947 passed away on October 25 2008. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Evelee; daughters Regina (Jon) Davis Linda (Andrew) Milley; son Tommy (Celena) Van Putten; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; aunts uncles; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Thomas was an Army Veteran as well as serving 18 months as a POW-MIA during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Lowell Fire Department and served with the Saranac Fire Department. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. October 28 2008 at First Baptist of Lowell 2275 West Main with Pastor John Santa Gooch Rev. Shannon Witherell and Pastor David Smis officiating. The family will meet with friends and relatives at 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Lowell Fire Department or Roadbed Ministries 5010 S. Division Wyoming MI 49545.
