Thomas A. Bostic, age 61 of Grand Rapids (formerly of Roanoke, VA), past into the hands of God peacefully and gracefully Tuesday, August 30, 2016, surrounded by his children, Nicholas (Rosemary), Lauren, and Ryan (Maria). Thom is also survived by his grandchildren, Lillian, Savannah, Cecilia, Charles, Elizabeth, Andrew, and expected Thomas; mother, Betty Bostic; brothers, Lester Bostic, Alex (Samantha) Bostic; sisters, Eva Bostic, Janice Bostic; father and mother-in-law, Edwin and Betty Mucha; brother-in-law, Frank (Sari) Mucha; sister-in-law, Janet (Bob) Maine; aunt Bobbi (Frank) Gigliotti; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, in January of 2016, Terri; and father Lester. Thom was an employee of Siemens Medical for 30 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1449 Wilcox Park Dr. S.E., Grand Rapids. Rev. James Chelich presiding. Visitation Friday 4-7:00 p.m. with a vigil at 5:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. S.E., Grand Rapids.
