Stephanie Franchi

Stephanie Franchi, age 97 of Cascade, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio; son, Dominic Franchi and son-in-law John Doody and brother Matthew Duch. She is survived by her daughter, Beatrice Doody; six grandchildren, Barbara (Jerry) O’Neal, Tony Doody, Greg Doody (Chrissy Black), Kathy (John) Deederly, Kristy (Bob) Flannery, Angelo (Aracelis) Franchi; 14 great grandchildren, 18 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Viola Duch-Cerda; also several nieces and nephews. Stephanie was greeted daily by her sidekick Lexi. Mrs. Franchi’s family would like to thank all of the staff of Hospice of Michigan, Sr. Ann Michael and Fr. Leonard Sudlik for their wonderful compassionate care given to our mom and grandmother. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster, 6477 Ada Dr., Ada. Rev. Leonard Sudlik presiding. Entombment Graceland Memorial Park and Mausoleum. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4:00 and 6-8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Road, Grand Rapids.
