Sophia was the most precious daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece, and friend to everyone who knew her. She had the most accepting and generous spirit. Sophia was a defender of the underdogs and brought compassion without judgement. She was a strong athlete, loved the outdoors, music, and animals. She was a special part of a large and loving family and friends. Our hearts are broken that Sophia is not with us; but you can look to nature to feel her awesome presence. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Road SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at St. Robert of Newminster Catholic Parish, 6477 Ada Dr SE, Ada, MI 49301, with visitation one hour prior. Fr.
