Matthew Jerome Perrin

Matthew Jerome Perrin, age 97 of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Judy; daughters, Linda (Charles) Behm, Judy Perrin, Kathleen Perrin, Deborah (Tim) Williams; son-in-law, Ted Fichuk; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Jim Perrin; and daughter, Patricia Fichuk. Matt grew up in the grocery business becoming the owner of Madison Square Food Town and later Matt’s Food Town. He was an avid golfer and especially loved to tee it up at Saskatoon. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 1935 Plymouth Ave. SE, Grand Rapids. Rev. Troy Nevins presiding. The family will meet with friends and relatives one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
