COLLINS Ronald W. Collins age 80 of Ada left this life to be in a better place on January 15 2012. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Cheryl; children Bill (Beth) Collins Tracy (Sarah) Collins Shelli (Don) Talkington Jill (John) Lang; grandchildren Nick (Lindsay) Collins Matt (Jenny) Collins Daniel and Hannah Collins Chad Brandon and Justin Talkington A.J. and Christopher Lang; brothers-in-law Darwin (Lorraine) Nellist Duke Thomet Orley (Diana) Kranenberg; sister-in-law Dode Collins; many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his sisters Cleone McCormick Rosie Kranenberg and Marilyn Thomet; brother Rex Collins. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and worked for the Kent County Road Commission for 39 years before his retirement. Ron was admired by his family and friends for his gentle spirit quick wit and positive attitude. He served as a great example of how to live. Funeral services will be at First Congregational Church of Ada Rev. Gary Burdick officiating. Interment Ada Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.
