Robert Joseph Abdou, age 59, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 13, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph D. Abdou; brother, Joseph A. Johns. Rob is survived by his daughter, Kali Jablonski; mother, Nazha Abdou; brothers, Eli (Antoinette) Abdou, John (Henriette) Abdou, Hasseb (Nikki) Abdou, Ramzy (Stacy) Abdou, and Pete Abdou; sisters, Lena (Joe) Elkhoury, Antoinette Abdou; also grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 18, 2020 at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Ada, MI 49301. Rev. Leonard Sudlik presiding.
