Robert J. Tucker

Robert J. Tucker, age 83, of Clarksville, went home to be with his Lord Jesus on Tuesday morning, September 15, 2015. Bob leaves behind Joyce, his loving wife of 63 years; his children Edward (Sheryl) Tucker, Deborah (Dennis) Veenstra and Cheryl (Gary) Dredge. His life was also blessed with 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many wonderful friends. Bob worked for General Motors for 30 years. He loved gardening and camping and was known as a master woodcraftsman. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman, but even more, as a fisher-of-men who proclaimed the gospel of Christ to everyone he met. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Bob’s life at Clarksville Bible Church, 191 S. Main St., on Sunday, September 20 at 4 p.m. Pastor Tim Bateman officiating. The family will meet with friends and relatives one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Clarksville Bible Church in Bob’s name.
