Peter S. Lomonoco

LOMONOCO Peter S. Lomonoco age 84 of Grand Rapids passed away January 16 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Antonia Lomonoco; brothers Sam Anthony and Louie Lomonoco. Surviving are his wife Betty (nee Retan) Lomonoco; children Peter (Margaret) Lomonoco Janice (Michael) Maly Michael (Laura) Lomonoco Anita (Brian) Johnson; grandchildren Emily Rapp Katie Helder Mary Beth Darling Paul Maly Michael Maly Lauren Lomonoco Alexis Lomonoco Michael Lomonoco Nicholas Johnson Andie Johnson Lucas Johnson; great grandchildren Owen Rapp Leah Rapp Adrianna Maly Ethan Helder; sister-in-law Delores Lomonaco; also nieces and nephews. Mr. Lomonoco was a World War II veteran serving as a US Navy Seaman on the USS John A. Bole (DD755) in the South Pacific. He worked as a Furniture Manufacturers Representative for over 40 years and was a member of the Home Furniture Manufacturers Representative Association. He also was a member of the Catholic War Veterans and the Sons of Italy. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered January 19 2010 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Burton & Plymouth SE. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Rosary will be recited 7 PM Monday. Visitation from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home 3980 Cascade Rd SE.
