Nonnie Ann Daniel

Nonnie (Carol Gast) Ann Daniel, age 83, passed away from cancer Wednesday, May 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by her adopted parents, Evelyn and Waldemar Gast. Nonnie is survived by her cousin, Rosemarie Reed Hensch who has been caring for her the last five years; her daughter, Catherine Danders; grandson, Michael Danders; and numerous cousins. She spent a few years as a stewardess for Capital Airlines but spent most of her career as an executive secretary at Lear Siegler. Nonnie is now free of the demons in her head as she struggled with mental illness most of her life. She lived the last five years at the Village of Heather Hills. Family would like to thank all the staff and residents for their care and compassion. Private graveside service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery to be held at a later date. A celebration of Nonnie’s life will be held after the quarantine at the Village of Heather Hills.
