Nila Joan Norden (Hesche), age 78 passed away January 14, 2020 after a battle with cancer. She was born May 23, 1941 in the family home on Snow Ave. Nila was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Pearl Hesche; brothers, Raymond and Darrel Hesche; son, Patrick Norden; and grandson, James Schafer. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Sidney Norden; daughter, Michelle Norden; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Through her life she was a very open and loving person who cared deeply for children and family. It was at her home where neighbor’s kids usually gravitated to. The world is a little better place because she was in it. Nila was truly loved and will be truly missed. Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2020 from 5-8 pm at Roth-Gerst Chapel, 305 N. Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Roth-Gerst Chapel at 11:00 am. Rev. Tom Boutell officiating. Interment Merriman Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Flat River Outreach Ministries, 11535 Fulton St E, Lowell Charter Township, MI 49331.

  2. My heart goes out to her whole family.She was such a sweet,lovely lady who will me missed by many.I will miss our many talks we had at the lake during the summer,to just sit and visit with her was a pleasure.Rest In Peace Nila,and keep a watch over all of us.Love you
