DUIVEN Nick Duiven III, aged 73 of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nick Jr. and Kathryn Duiven and brother, Courtney. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Duiven; children, Nicolette Hirdes, Christina and Shaun O’Brien, Michelle and Duane Klinker, Nick IV and Marisa Duiven; stepchildren, Andrew Foster and his fiancé Karisha, Jeffrey and Jillian Foster; 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, William Jr. and Barbara Magrane. He graduated from Forest Hills High School, attended 2 years at Ferris State and then worked at Steelcase for 34 years. Nick enjoyed all sports, antiques and collectibles, garage sale shopping and trading. He made friends all over town. Memorial services will be Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Caledonia United Methodist Church, Rev. Jodie Flessner, officiating with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
