Mr. Edward Jay Bekker

Mr. Edward Jay Bekker, age 78, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2016.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  Ed is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 55 years, Mary Bekker; sons John, Andy and Doug, all of Grand Rapids; and grandchildren Connor, Elliott, Annika, Jacob, Matthew, Ben, Mich and Sarah; and his sister Arlene. Funeral services will be Monday, November 28, 12:00 Noon at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, with visitation one hour prior to the services. Rev. Gordon Barry officiating.
