Mounir George Khoury

Mounir George Khoury, age 94, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019. He was preceded in death by his son Fouad Khoury (2018); son-in-law Romeo Louis; brothers Yousef Khoury, Salim Khoury and sister Hanneh Elia.  He is survived by his brothers, Hannah (Mona) Khoury, Mikhael (Samira) Khoury, Elias (Maha) Khoury, Marta ( Nicola) Nakhle: sons, Tony (Lena) Khoury, George Khoury, Mike Khoury and Nahi (Marcelle) Khoury; daughters Souheila Louis (Romeo d. 1995) and Noelle Khoury; grandchildren Michael (Iktimal) Louis,  Lena (Pascal) Hajar,  Elie (Sabah) Louis,  Tony (Melissa) Louis,  Zeina (Luci) Burghelea, Joe Louis, Chady Khoury, Rabieh (Helen) Khoury, Dory (Wendy) Khoury, Ashley Khoury, Alex Khoury, Roger Khoury, Sandra Khoury, Jason Khoury, Celina Khoury, Rex Khoury; and nieces and nephews,  Rita, Rebecca, Rabel Louis, Maria, Serena Hajar, Nicolas, Michael, Naya Louis, Samara Louis, Catalina and Gabriel Burghelea and Ava Marie Khoury.   Visitation will be Thursday, July 11 from 6-8 PM with a Rosary at7:30 PM, Deacon Larry Hoogeboom presiding at O-Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 12 at 12:30 PM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1120 Four Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525. Rev. Tom Page officiating.  Interment Graceland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Mounir’s name to the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan, 349 S. Division Ave, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
