Maxine Liebl, age 92, of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rick Liebl; son-in-law, Mike Brennan; great-grandchildren, Alexander, Gabriel; and her beloved dog, Charlie. Maxine is survived by her children, Joan (Jerry) Canfield, Janet Brennan, Monica Conklin, Margie (Mike) Ward, Karen Anderson, Richard Liebl; grandchildren, Anne Marie Canfield, Michael (Tannis) Canfield, Katie (Kevin) Kirk, Mary (Tim) Hoover, Rebecca Conklin, Blake Conklin, Nick Conklin, Danielle (Jimmie) Nuse, Ryan (Morgan) Ward, Matt (Casen) Ward, Ricky (Athena Antonis) Ward, Shannon (Matt) Driy, Marcus (Claudia) Anderson, Devin Marshall; great-grandchildren, Brendan, Drew, Jake, Genevieve, Kowen, Saxon, and Felix. She worked at Grand Rapids Envelope for many years. Maxine loved to vacation in Santa Barbara, CA., and take Mediterranean cruises. Family will welcome visitors from 10-11 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. A private rosary service will be livestreamed at 11 AM at https://www.facebook.com/gerstgrandrapids/. Fr. Peter Vu, officiating. We will be following Covid restrictions per the executive order, please note that masks will be required. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
