FROST Mary V. (Obie) Frost – Born May 04, 1918 died January 03, 2012 in Traverse City Michigan. Mary was born the daughter of A. B. O’Brien and Anna Rousseau O’Brien in Grand Rapids Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Andrew Boniface Betty Anne Maurice T. and Joseph Gabriel. She was also preceded in death by her first husband H. Holmes Ellis and her second husband Ruben E. Frost. She is survived by her children Howard Holmes Ellis Mary Anne Rivers-Friese (Gordon), and Skyler Elizabeth Ellis. Her grandchildren are Anne (Tom) Kramer Elizabeth Sexton Rivers Kelly Kruger Dunn. and James Howard Robertson. Her great-grandchildren are Lukas VanderLinde and Madeleine Amanda Thomas. She is also survived by her step-children Chad (Mary) Frost Barbara Frost Sandi (Ken ) Parrish and Tom (Cheri) Frost. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 1449 Wilcox Park Dr. SE Rev. James A. Chelich presiding. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Visitation 6-8 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers a memorial contribution in Mary’s name be given to the charity of your choice.
