Mary Jane Flanders-McNally

Mary Jane Flanders-McNally, age 94 of Grand Rapids, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Martha Emma, husband of 60 years Robert in 2004, and great-granddaughter, Francesca Marie McNally. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Debra) McNally, Mary Jayne (Larry) Vandlen, Ellen (James) O’Brien, Robert McNally; nine grandchildren, Sean (Veronica) McNally, Erin (Joel) Goward, Darren McNally, Brian McNally, Larry “Chip” (Julie) Vandlen, Robert (Brianna) Vandlen, Jodi Lynn (Stan) Bartling, Emma Kate O’Brien, Patrick O’Brien; nine great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Norbert McNally; sister-in-law, Margaret Spangler, also many nieces and nephews. Mary Jane attended Our Lady of Victory in Grandview, OH and the University of Missouri where she graduated with honors in Business Administration in 1941 and was elected Home Coming Queen. She was a charter member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Services will be held Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Mausoleum, 4100 Clyde Park S.W., Wyoming. Rev. Troy Nevins officiating.
