Maria LaFranca

Maria LaFranca, age 84 of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Agostino Vitale and brother, Nunzio Vitale. She is survived by her sons, Agostino and Franco (Cetty) LaFranca; brothers, Salvatore (Belinda) and Joe Vitale; sister, Josephine (Andrea) Logiudice; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins. Maria’s joy in life was being with family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 101 Hall St. SE, Rev. Ted Kozlowski, presiding. Interment Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE.
