SMITH – Louise Marie Smith aged 80 of Grand Rapids died January 18 2008. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Smith. She is survived by her husband of 58 .5 years Ken Smith; children Sheryl Brian (Shelly) Smith Kerry (Jodi) Smith; seven grandchildren; triplet great grandsons; sister-in-law Joyce (Jack) Fox. Louise graduated from Michigan State University in 1949 and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She was a music major and taught piano for 40 years. Louise enjoyed golf bridge reading and ceramics. Funeral services will be at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home 3980 Cascade Rd. SE Fr. Stephen Holmgren of Grace Episcopal Church officiating. Interment Findlay Cemetery. Visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
