RYBICKI, LORRAINE “Lori” ROSE, age 76, entered Eternal Life to be with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, following a brief illness. Lori was born in Manistee, MI on December 30, 1946, along with her twin sister, Loretta, to John & Linda Rybicki. She graduated from Orchard View High School in 1965 and attended Muskegon Community College earning an associate degree in business. She then moved to Grand Rapids, MI where she resided most of her adult life. While growing up, Lori was known for her talented ability in playing the piano. She had worked for many employers in the Grand Rapids area putting to use her office management skills, especially shorthand. One of Lori’s proudest accomplishments was attending University of Phoenix – Grand Rapids, Michigan where she completed a bachelor’s degree in business management. She ended her career retiring from American Seating Company. Lori was very creative; some of her hobbies were cake decorating, free-hand drawings, and calligraphy. In her adult life, she took up watercolor painting, and was a faithful member of the glee and drama clubs. Lori’s Catholic faith was the center of her life, praying the rosary daily. She was a lecturer at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew for many years. Lori is survived by her sisters, Loretta Joldersma of Norton Shores and Josephine Siegel of Muskegon; three nieces and one nephew all of Muskegon, Tracy (Nicholai) Powell, Roger (Allison) Siegel, Nicole (Robert) Segelstrom, and Kristi Beerman; 11 great nieces and nephews, Ashleigh, Gabrielle, Lauren, and Nicholas Powell, Madison and Kennedy Segelstrom, Trent, Taylor, and Tristin Beerman, Scarlett and Alec Siegel; three great grandnieces, Hadley and Harper Powell, and Amelia Green; and many cousins; two special friends: Richard Arndt and Patrick Kaiser. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Linda Rybicki, brother-in-law, David Joldersma; and great-nephew, baby Samuel. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 E. Summit Ave., Muskegon Heights, MI 49444 with Father Douglas Braun presiding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service at church in the Victor Miller Room. BURIAL will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Muskegon, MI. Memorial Contributions can be made to a charity of choice.

  1. Lori was such s kind hearted and generous person. We worked together at American Seating Company.
    She always gave 100 percent to whatever she was involved in. She was a friend to many. It was a privilege to have known her. She was a blessing to many.
