Lavern Vern George Robertston

ROBERTSON – Lavern Vern George Robertson aged 87 of Grand Rapids formerly of Wyandotte passed away April 13 2010. He was preceded in death by his 4 sisters and 1 brother. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Irene; son Dale (Sonja) Robertson; brother Charles Robertson; grandchildren Clare Charles Leland and Tatyana; several nieces and nephews. Vern worked for 38 years at B.A.S.F. and served during World War II in the Army Air Force European Theatre. He was a life member of the Trenton-Wyandotte Masonic Temple was active for over 20 years in the Kiwanis 1000-Wyandotte volunteered at Henry Ford-Wyandotte Hospital and with the Salvation Army. Vern was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church-Wyandotte. Memorial services will be held at the First Presbyterian Church-Wyandotte on May 1 at 1:00 PM Rev. Arthur Oberg officiating. Inurnment at the Michigan Memorial Park New Boston Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyandotte First Presbyterian Church 2250 Oak St., Wyandotte MI 49192.
