Kurt Allen VanderWeele

Age 64 of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Lois VanderWeele. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ann; children, Jennifer (Steven) DeRoos, David (Kelly) VanderWeele; brother, Stephen VanderWeele; brother-in-law, Steven (Carol) Bolo; grandchildren Nicholas, Nathaniel and Samuel DeRoos, William and Isabelle VanderWeele; also nieces and nephews. Kurt enjoyed his career in the plumbing and heating business working at Ferguson Supply Co. of Grand Rapids. You would often find him walking his dogs, boating, golfing, or carving with care walking sticks for his grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at Thornapple Covenant Church, 6595 Cascade Road S.E., Grand Rapids. Pastor Karen Ingebretson officiating.
