RADECKI – (GREGORY) Kris Ann Radecki aged 40 of Lansing formerly of Grand Rapids passed away unexpectedly July 2 2008. She is survived by her husband of 17 years John; sons Alex and Nicholas; parents Margaret Gregory David (Joyce) Gregory; brothers Don (Sandy) Gregory Michael (Rosanna) Gregory; sisters Julianne Gregory Jill (Damon) Chaskey; parents-in-law Deacon Richard (Marcy) Radecki; brothers-in-law David (Lori) Radecki Daniel (Patti) Radecki; sister-in-law Mary (David) Koss; special aunt Janice Huntley. Kris was a wonderful and generous aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her many aunts uncles cousins and friends. Kris graduated from Creston High School and Michigan State University. She enjoyed her work as an OTA and recreational therapist. She was a quiet compassionate woman who cherished her family especially her pride and joys Alex and Nicholas. Kris was an active volunteer in the boys’ activities. She loved to play all sorts of games with her boys and family. She gave to her sons the wonderful gift of creativity and music especially in her songs for any occasion. Her selflessness and love for her family can also be seen in all her hand-crafted gifts to them. While her death came too soon for us her family and friends her love compassion and gentle ways will always be carried in our hearts. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Paul the Apostle Church 2750 Burton SE Grand Rapids Msgr. Ernest P. Schneider presiding. Visitation 5 to 8 p.m. at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE and 10 to 11 a.m. at church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Radecki Children Education Fund c/o Fifth-Third Bank.
