Katherine Jeanne Stevens

STEVENS (NOBLE) Katherine Jeanne (Noble) Stevens, age 71 of Grand Rapids, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2012, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. “Katie” was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Noble, and her beloved sister, Mickey Dunkelberg. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Douglas Stevens; her children, Bernard (Sandra) Ratcliffe, Robert (Robin) Ratcliffe, Katherine (Glenn) Meredith, and Victoria (Mike Kubizna) Stacey. Katie is also survived by her sisters, Polly Decker and Peggy Noble Idema, and her brother, William (Christine) Noble; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Katie will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by many friends, family and her loving animals. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan, Donation Processing Center, 989 Spaulding Ave. SE, Ada, Michigan 49301-3701. In keeping with Katie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be celebrated Sunday, September 16 from1-4 PM at 810 Ball Ave. NE.
