June Marian Bazuin-DeHaan

June Marian Bazuin-DeHaan, age 87 of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Bazuin and Lawrence DeHaan. She is survived by her two sons, Gary and his wife Colleeen Bazuin and Bradley Bazuin. June was a graduate of Calvin College with a degree in Education going on to teach English at Union High School and Davenport College. After founding Bazuin Insulating Company with her husband John, she became sole owner and operator on his passing in 1971, eventually selling the company nearly 3 decades later. June was active in numerous community causes and local organization for Women in Business, including; Project Rehab, View 100, the Altrusa Club, and the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 11 at 11:00 AM at the O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Rev. Lew VanderMeer of New Community Church, officiating. Interment Blythefield Memory Gardens. Visitation Saturday 12-2 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
