John “Jack” Patrick Brownlow, age 88, of East Grand Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann; and parents, John and Anna Brownlow. He is survived by sons, John (Deana) Brownlow, II of Ada and Patrick Brownlow of Grand Rapids; step-children, Peter Jackson, Pamela Jackson-Hensen, Lisa Jackson and their mother, Beverly Brownlow; and grandsons, John “Jack”, Grant and Greyson. Jack graduated from South High School and retired from Amway Corporation. Visitation will be Saturday, September 8 from 12-2 PM at O’Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546. A private service will take place.

I worked with John years ago at Amway. I was just talking with a couple other ex coworkers about him. He had a great sense of humor! Seemed always in a good mood. I just wanted the family to know he held a special place in my memory and in my heart.
