JEAKLE John Gerard Jack age 87 passed away peacefully at Clark Retirement Community surrounded by his family on August 29 2009. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Jennifer Jeakle; sister & brother-in-law Dorothy & Jack Montgomery sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law Roxana & Malcolm Booker and Natalie & Andy Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Lucy; children John Jr. Jerry (Donna) of Orange Park FL Carolyn (Greg) DePuydt of Greenville MI Catherine Tom (Mary), Anne (Vern) VandenBerg Mary Lynn of Jackson MI James of Kalamazoo MI and Susan (Michael) Coulson; grandchildren Matt Jeakle Christopher (Audrey) DePuydt Michael (Tracy) DePuydt Julie Jeakle Kevin (Maureen) Jeakle Daniel Jeakle David (Bekah) VandenBerg Andrew and Kimberly VandenBerg Justin and Kayleigh Coulson; three great grandchildren Joseph Andy and Heidi; sister-in-law Georgie Richner; and many loved nieces and nephews. At Jacks request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be offered September 3 2009 with visitation one hour prior at St. Stephen Church 750 Gladstone Dr. SE. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephens STAR Scholarship Fund or Egypt Valley Country Club Scholarship Fund.
