John F. Farmer

ohn F. Farmer, age 84 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Rockford, passed into eternity on, Friday, January 23, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat Farmer. He is survived by his daughters, Mary (Dennis Zak) Farmer, Maureen (Mike) Sullivan; grandchildren, Sara, Dana, Christopher, Kevin and Steven Zak, Ryan (Kristin), Kyle and Luke Sullivan; great-grandsons, Dominic and Isaac Sullivan; also nieces and nephews. John served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked many years as an accountant at Leitelt Iron Works. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00 a.m. at St. Robert of Newminster Church, 6477 Ada Dr. SE, Grand Rapids. Msgr. R. Louis Stasker presiding. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
