John Edward Peterson Jr.

John Edward Peterson Jr., age 66 of Lowell, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donna and John Peterson Sr.; and his daughter, Amanda Peterson. John is survived by his wife Dawn Peterson; son, BJ (Jessica) Peterson; brother, Darrin (Melissa) Peterson; sisters, Nancy (Howard) Flanagan, and Linda Peterson; brother and sister-in-law, Debbie and Steve Shepard; grandsons, Oscar Peterson, and Magnus Peterson; and his dog, Abby. John, an Army veteran and truck driver was known for his love of drag car races, railroad museums, and tractor pulls. His greatest delight was pranking his two grandsons, creating cherished memories. Memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home, 305 N Hudson, Lowell, MI 49331, with visitation one hour prior. Rev. Ken Ford officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Lupus Foundation or the Humane Society in Walker Michigan.
