Bonnie Kay (Dryer) Canfield-Vanderwall, 62 of Clarksville, passed away peacefully June 7, 2024, from this life, into the loving arms of our lord, after a long illness. Born December 4th, 1961, in Hastings, Michigan to Harley and Marilyn (Kitson) Dryer. Bonnie was their only daughter of their 5 children.
Bonnie spent her early years in the Freeport, Clarksville area graduated from Lakewood Public School in 1980. She worked in the Agricultural field her whole life including, Snyder Farm Supply, Freeport Elevator and Zook farm Equipment. Later in life she loved volunteering at Lincoln Lake Youth Camp as a cook. Bonnies enduring love for her family farm where she spent countless days working beside those she loved and with her angus cows will remain as vivid as the sunrise over the Michigan fields she so deeply adored.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her first husband of 27 years, Darwin Canfield, sister-in-law Chris Dryer, her parent Harley & Marilyn Dryer and father in-law Thomas Canfield.
Bonnie is survived, and will be lovingly remembered, by her husband of 9 years Mark Vanderwall. Children, Heather (Dan) Everett, Nathaniel (Amanda) Canfield, Benjamin (Fiancé Austin Duryea) Canfield, and stepchildren, Alex (Allee) Vanderwall, Thomas Vanderwall, Ryan Vanderwall, Gracie Vanderwall. And her 10 Grandchildren. Brothers David (Julie) Dryer, Dennis (Paula) Dryer, Gary Dryer, Lee (Kim) Dryer. Loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
The family would like to welcome you in celebrating her life. Visitation is June 12th 2 pm – 4 pm & 6pm – 8 pm funeral services will be June 13th at 11 am with a visitation one hour prior at Calvary Grace Brethren Church 13700 84th St SE Alto MI 49302.

So sorry to hear this. We had friendships with her parents and brothers. When we moved to Freeport she was only a little girl. She was so cute chattering away like she had known us all along. May God bless her family.
