KELLY – John E. Kelly age 79 of Gowen passed away January 15 2009. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Joan; children Mark Kelly of Waterford Jeff (Debra) Kelly of Belding Sandy (Dave) Warren of Ann Arbor and Kathleen (John) VanderBoon of Plainwell; sister Joan Harmsen of Hopkins; grandchildren Alexandria Jacob Daniel John and James Kelly Erin Kara and Scotty Bowers Jessie Leah Megan Audrey and Nate VanderBoon; two great-granddaughters Taylor and Julia Kelly; also many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers James and Richard Kelly and granddaughter Tracey Kelly. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered January 19th at St. Margaret Catholic Church 10195 16 Mile Rd. in Cedar Springs with Fr. Philip Salmonowicz presiding. Interment St. Margaret Cemetery. A prayer scripture service will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home 305 N. Hudson St., Lowell.
