John Duursma age 75 of Grand Rapids passed away March 9 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Christine. He is survived by his children John M. Duursma Scott R. (Sherri) Duursma Tracy (Thomas) Rosenbach Rebecca (David) Draaisma; grandchildren Emily Heidi and Matthew Duursma Jenna Duursma Benjamin Haley and Korey Jo Rosenbach; great-grandson Tristan Duursma; brother Jay (Sharon) Duursma; sisters Carol (Jerry) Nilsson and Marilyn (Dale) Mosher; granddogs Rudy and Latte. John was a member of the Grand Rapids Lions Club and Trade Typographers. He had worked at Central Trade Plant Raydon Bindery and Middleton Printing & Enterprise Envelope. Visitation will be April 11 from 4-7 PM at the OBrien-Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel 3980 Cascade Rd. SE. Honoring Johns wishes cremation has taken place.
