JOHN CHARLES OLKER

John Charles Olker born of Chicago, resident of Vicksburg went to his heavenly home on Sunday, October 23, 2016, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. John passed away suddenly with an Aortic Aneurysm. His true love and talent was with the Drum Corps and Royal Aires. He enjoyed a good game of pool, and loved traveling with Angie to visit family in Germany. John is survived by his lifelong partner Angie Ables; sons Ken (Deb) Ables, Lenny (Sarah) Ables, Dennis (Sarah) Ables; grand kids are Izak, Keegan, Alex, Lucas, and Liam, which he loved so much. John’s brothers are Alan Olker, Larry (Vicki) Olker, Brian (April) Olker; also nieces and nephews Tyler, Tori, Heather, Wes, and Brandon. He is preceded by his parents Ralph, and Delores Olker. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:30 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Parish, 224 Carrier St. N.E., Grand Rapids. Rev. Patrick Grile presiding.
